Sacramento Concerts In The Park DJ Epik, The People's Revolution, Soosh*e! And Del The Funky Homosapien

On June 9th, I went to Concerts In The Park in Sacramento at Cesar Chavez Plaza. I did not have an "official" press pass for the event. A friend reached out a week before and said, "You should go to Concerts In The Park." As a music lover and a photographer capturing the arts, I decided to go. It was an amazing Friday evening filled with many happy, having-a-great-time people! CIP has showcased local talent and nationally touring artists like Cake, Tesla, Deftones, The Brodys and Blackalicious to name a few! Roughly 500 bands have performed on the stage over the past 25 years! 

First to perform for the evening was The People's Revolution! Wow!

This DARLING young man entertained the crowd between sets. He was incredibly energetic! The crowd loved him!

Remember the DARLING young man crowd entertainer earlier in the post? He was adorable to photograph while Del Performed as well! 

The crowd LOVED him! He left us all wanting more!

Plans for this coming Friday, July 7th? DJ Rated R, Jette, Our People and Arden Park Roots will take the stage! The concert is from 5 pm until 9 pm. Only a few Fridays remain to enjoy the FREE outdoor music festival! Sadly, July 21st will be the last one at Cesar Chavez Park in Sacramento UNTIL next summer 2018!
